Pieces are small,not large. Gives off good heat but there are other options that give the same results for less money.

Excellent charcoal. A bit on the expensive side though lost ot a star.

Mediocre at best - very few large pieces, didn't burn as hot and didn't last long.
For the money you can get better charcoal.
I've been doing this for year, very disappointed with this product.

The bag I bought had no large pices. Some medium and a lot of smaller ones. Not what I expected.
